Dr. Mohammad H. Ahmadi is a post-doctoral fellow and instructor at the University of British Columbia- Okanagan. He received his MSc and Ph.D. from the Sharif University of Technology and the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering (IIEES) in Iran, respectively. As a project manager and structural designer, he also worked on several industrial projects, including high-rise buildings, hospitals, stadiums, refineries, and bridges.

Dr. Ahmadi works on precast concrete structures and focuses on seismic assessment and design of conventional connections in precast concrete shear walls in Canada.
